1. The book outline.

Hey guys,
So this is a brand new blog address (waveysbookbyjune@blogspot.com) as opposed to waveysthoughts.blogspot.ie.

Here I will post all things relating to the book by 30th of June project I am working on.

For your first reading pleasure, here is the outline... excluding some planned plot twists.

Outline:

·      Lee Kennedy is a boy who has an abusive father, Michael.
·      Lee befriends Joshua.
·      Joshua is a huge support to Lee as Lee deals with his mother, Meave’s, upset and his father’s anger.
·      A prologue focuses on Lee getting a diary and writing his thoughts on what has happened so far.
·      Chapter 1 Lee meets Joshua and it tells the story of Lee trusting Joshua enough to tell him about it.
·      The second chapter is about his father shouting at him. He calls him a worthless waste of space. To Lee this confirms things he has already thought about himself.
·      The third chapter talks about Lee’s dad killing his mum; and Joshua’s loving father takes him in.
·      Chapter 4: After some time, practically as brothers, Lee dates a girl and enters into a sexual relationship with her. Joshua is against this relationship and eventually Lee chooses the girl over Joshua.
·      Chapter 5: Lee and her break up and Lee turns to a destructive drinking habit robbing his blood father, Joshua and his father to feed his habits.
·      Chapter 6 sees a new friend in Lee’s life who helps him come to a place where Lee seeks out Joshua: Holly.
·      Chapter 7 is about Joshua and Lee becoming friends again but is interrupted when the police come to arrest Lee.
·      Chapter 8 is about what Lee does while in prison. Rehab and making up with Joshua’s father.
·      Chapter 9 is about Joshua and Lee living as friends again and continued improvement in Lee’s life.
·      Chapter 10 is where the whole story makes sense.

Each chapter needs to be c 6000-7000 words.
